At Stan's House in Desoto, Texas #2

Stan Milam had his second, early-year, guitar get-together that was enjoyed by quite of few people.  Ken Cashion came over from Picayune, MS for a couple of nights.  Folks brought food, instruments, and good spirits to Stan's nice house.

#1 ------ It is cool again this early in the year and as last year, people congregate on the deck to play...or eat.

#2 ------ Lots of good food of all sorts...and drinks.  Robert Harding is putting it away as is another guest.   Norma Lewis, to the right, is either already full or is waiting her turn...or second time around.

#3 ------ Tom Risner with yet another guitar (and hat) is playing, Martha Pinto and Don Lewis are eating, as is guest to the right.

#4 ------ Song circle is off and spinning with John Bjorkman at right, Stan, host, standing and Martha.

#5 ------ Martha's turn to sing.

#6 ------ Cathy Horsey, Clare, and Norma in the living room song circle.

#7 ------ Sue Risner must have been there because there is her hammered dulcimer.  Robert is playing and Don is listening.

#8 ------ I started to say something about Robert straining here, but I do not know that I have ever seen him "strain."   He just does it.

#9 ------ To far left is Don, then Sue Risner, Tom, and Raf is playing and singing his turn in the circle.

#10 ------ I think that this might have been before Clare became one of our performers!

#11 ------ It seems that Tom has always been one of our performers...even if no one is listening.

#12 ------ Pretty Martha awaits her turn.

#13 ------ And Stan is wondering, 'Who are all these people in my house making all this noise?'

#14 ------ And then Stan's turn to play rolls around.  And he plays so well.

#15 ------ Martha is singing along with someone...and they are sounding better because of it.

#16 ------ One of Stan's "drop-in-guest" with another old regular.

#17 ------ Stan is bearing down on a pretty song played on his Collings.

#18 ------ Yep, we really enjoy Gary Low.  He gives Tom Risner a real run for his money when it comes to hats.  And Gary's music is good, too.

#19 ------ Stan and Gary team  up again.
