A RATIONALE
FOR THE
BASIC DIFFERENCES
IN THE
AMERICAN AND BRITISH SOCIAL PSYCHES
(Soft Cover & eBook)
This little book covers a big subject and it was
started in the early 1980s. The writing was to eliminate some confusion in the author's
mind relative to the differences in the attitudes of some British people and a lot of
Americans. Over the years, and after five trips to Britain and more study, the author
continued to modify this manuscript. As more was learned, more was taken out as being
superfluous or immaterial, yet some things always remained, and those were the important
things.
A lull in his other writings permitted this subject to be revisited
and resolved; this book is the result. The book is self explanatory. Of interest is the
change of people over the years...the British continue to show their greatest strengths in
their resilience and their acceptance of precedence. The American is frustrated by changes
in his nation. Accepting change in matters of great importance is not easy for anyone.
